School Dress Code
The following items are permitted in the dress code at LPP.
● Jeans, colored denim, corduroy, dress pants/slacks, khakis

Students are NOT allowed to wear athletic pants or shorts

Jeans can have frays but no holes (skin cannot show)
● Polo or knit shirts of any color
● T-shirts

Branded logos are allowed

NO characters from movies rated higher than PG-13

NO characters from TV shows rated TV-MA
-
NO characters or references to video games rated above teen
-
The administration reserves the right to deem video games or TV shows and movies outside of the rating parameters as inappropriate.

NO shirts with offensive slogans; the school reserves the right to determine this.

Any shirt deemed inappropriate will have to be turned inside out

Only music bands played on K-Love
● Shorts are allowed for boys and girls

Shorts must be at least fingertip length

Shorts cannot be rolled

Undergarments cannot be longer than the shorts No biker shorts

No oversized hoodies or shirt with shorts.
● Girls may wear blouses or shirts with a modest neckline, undergarment straps should
not be exposed
● Girls may wear dresses that fall at the top of the knee when standing
● Shirts with patterns or designs within the fabric
● Tennis shoes, dress shoes, loafers, sandals with straps (no flip-flops)

Crocs may be worn with the back on at all times.

High School Dances Dress Code
All Dresses Must be approved by Mandy Messer
Ladies:

Church dresses or a dressy dress is appropriate. Your dress should not be skin tight and cling to you, so that it rides up when you raise your arms.

No formals, no strapless, no backless, nothing cut below the bust line, no spaghetti straps on dresses. Strap widths minimum of 3/4”.

Dress lengths can be a little (3”) above the knee, at least longer than fingertips, when are are by your sides. When you bend over or raise your arms above your shoulders/head and are dancing, you should be able to do so WITHOUT showing any undergarments or seeing the back hamstrings of the legs.

No slits in short dresses front or back.

Fabric inserts must be sewn (see-through mesh/sheer and fringe are not allowed) and must be an actual fabric.

Comfortable shoes/boots are appropriate
Gentlemen:

Slacks/Khaki and a buttoned dress shirt or polo are appropriate. No Jeans. Suits or Sports coats are not required, optional, ladies will be in dresses.

No t-shirts allowed, or uniforms.
